By John Rittenoure - TULSA, Okla. (January 16, 2021) - More racing is on tap for the Sooner Late Model Series season as 31 nights of racing are booked for 2021.
The season will open on March 20 at Crawford County Speedway in Van Buren, Arkansas then travel to races in Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas before the season ends on October 8-9 at Thunderbird Speedway in Muskogee.
The historic Thunderbird half-mile will host five events for 2021. The Sooner Series returns to Enid Speedway for five races, Oklahoma Sports Park has three dates and the new Tulsa Speedway has inked two dates.
The Sooner Series will travel to Kansas for three shows at 81 Speedway, two nights at the Hutchinson Nationals at the Hutchinson Fairgrounds, and a visit to the famed Belleville High Banks.
A host of races will be held in Texas starting with Monarch Motor Speedway in April. Lubbock Speedway, Route 66 Motor Speedway, Boyd Raceway and Abilene Speedway are also hosting events.
