by John Rittenoure - TULSA, Okla. (January 5, 2022) - Dates for three Sooner Late Model Series races on the 2022 schedule have been changed.
The May 20 show at Thunderbird Speedway and May 21 show at Outlaw Motor Speedway have been moved up a week to May 13-14. Thunderbird Speedway will host the Sooner Series on May 13 and Outlaw Motor Speedway on May 14.
The above schedule change has forced the May 14 Enid Speedway Sooner Series event to be moved to May 21.

About Sooner Late Model Series
The Sooner Late Model Series was formed in 2016 by Enid Speedway co-promoter Mark Brill. Brill felt there was not many opportunities for late model competitors to race in Oklahoma and the Sooner Late Model Series was formed. Now the series has grown beyond the borders of Oklahoma with events held in the neighboring states of Kansas, Texas and Arkansas as well.
