Thunderbird weekend canceled

By John Rittenoure - TULSA, Okla. (April 22, 2026) - This weekends Hayden Ross Motorsports Foundation Sooner Late Model Series events at Thunderbird Speedway in Muskogee have been canceled due to a forecast of possible severe weather.
Racing was scheduled for Friday and Saturday, but a forecast calling for the likely hood of severe weather all weekend has track officials concerned. It was decided to cancel now as many late model teams have to travel some distance to get here.
The Sooner Late Model Series returns to action on Saturday, May 2, at Enid Speedway.
