John Rittenoure - TULSA, Okla. (March 24, 2023) - Heavy over night rains has forced cancellation of this weekends Complete Well Testing Sooner Late Model Series shows at Thunderbird Speedway and Crawford County Speedway.
The 2023 season was scheduled to open Friday at Thunderbird Speedway, the season opener has now been re-scheduled for Friday, March 31 at Thunderbird.
Saturday’s event at Crawford County Speedway in Van Buren, Arkansas is also rained out and will be made-up next Saturday, April 1.

About Sooner Late Model Series
The Sooner Late Model Series was formed in 2016 by Enid Speedway co-promoter Mark Brill. Brill felt there was not many opportunities for late model competitors to race in Oklahoma and the Sooner Late Model Series was formed. Now the series has grown beyond the borders of Oklahoma with events held in the neighboring states of Kansas, Texas and Arkansas as well.
