John Rittenoure - TULSA, Okla. (December 11, 2022) - A schedule showing 31 events for the 2023 season has been released by Sooner Late Model Series officials.
Complete Well Testing is back as title sponsor for 2023 and will be joined by Ross Construction of Muskogee.
Two new tracks are on the Sooner Series schedule. Humboldt Speedway has picked a June 9th date, and Salina Highbanks Speedway is set for June 24. After a two year absence the Sooner Series returns to Longdale Speedway on July 15, August 19, and October 6. October 7 will see a return to Red Dirt Raceway.
The Complete Well Testing Sooner Late Model Series season opens on March 24 at Thunderbird Speedway for the first of what will be four events slated for the half-mile oval. March 25 Crawford County Speedway will host their first of two shows for 2023. The season concludes on October at Enid Speedway.
Enid Speedway tops the schedule with seven race dates starting on May 6. The series will visit Creek County Speedway three times, and two times each at Caney Valley Speedway, Oklahoma Sports Park, Tulsa Speedway, and 81 Speedway.
September 29-30 have been set aside for a booking to be announced at a later date.

About Sooner Late Model Series
The Sooner Late Model Series was formed in 2016 by Enid Speedway co-promoter Mark Brill. Brill felt there was not many opportunities for late model competitors to race in Oklahoma and the Sooner Late Model Series was formed. Now the series has grown beyond the borders of Oklahoma with events held in the neighboring states of Kansas, Texas and Arkansas as well.
