(Sara Foster photo) John Rittenoure - ENID, Okla. (October 8, 2022) - In a non-points race run as a tribute to 2022 Complete Well Testing Sooner Late Model champion Hayden Ross, who lost his life in a tragic 4-wheeler accident on Thursday, Dustin Allen raced to this third victory of the season.
With members of the Ross family present, the 25-lap feature lined up in the missing man formation with Allen leading the way. When the green flag dropped Allen roared into the lead and pulled away. The field gave chase with Troy Bynum finishing in second. 4-time defending champion Kip Hughes was third followed by AJ Brochu in fourth and Jon Herring, Jr. fifth.
The CWT Sooner Late Model Series season will conclude next Saturday with a non-point event at Enid Speedway run in conjunction with the Winter Nationals.

About Sooner Late Model Series
The Sooner Late Model Series was formed in 2016 by Enid Speedway co-promoter Mark Brill. Brill felt there was not many opportunities for late model competitors to race in Oklahoma and the Sooner Late Model Series was formed. Now the series has grown beyond the borders of Oklahoma with events held in the neighboring states of Kansas, Texas and Arkansas as well.
