Sooner Modified points lead is on the line this weekend

by John Rittenoure,  TULSA, Okla. (October 21, 2017) - Kirby Robe and Cole Traugott are tied for the points lead and they have a host of contenders looking to challenge them when the Sooner Modified Series resumes Sunday at Enid Speedway.

Traugott has one victory to his credit coming earlier this season at Enid and has two top five finishes. Robe has not won a main event yet this season but has also been consistent with two top ten finishes to forge into a points tie.

The top six are within 50 points of the lead. Only 15 points behind in third is Kyle Goforth, Dustin Allen is 10 points behind Goforth in fourth and previous winner Brandon Gemmill is fifth just 45 points behind first place. Five points behind Gemmill is Broady Robe in sixth.

The modified points race promises to be a battle from start to finish this weekend.
